Umbar.
The city of Umbar is considered by its citizens to be the last great stronghold of Numenor - the greatest knigdom of Men to ever have existed.
The city is ancient, and so is it's history and culture.

Most Renowned; King Castamir.
The last great king of Umbar, rose in rebellion against Gondorian dominion, sparking a civil war known as "the Kin-strife".
Castamir died in the Rebellion, but his legacy still remains.

Faith; Mautark, the Knight of Umbar.
For thousands of years, Mautark has been revered and worshiped as the patron protector of Umbar and a servant of Sauron.
His aspects are War, Diciplin, loyalty and the Sea.

Trade; exotic spices, slaves from raids, gondorian spoils
Umbar is also known as the City of the Corsairs, and as such, the greatest profits are based on the trade of the many valued items taken on raids, and slaves.
Especially Gondorian goods are sold for a high profit.

Rule; The Sealord and the High Captain Council
Umbars ruling class is known as the Castamirim - decendants of the last grat king of Umbar, and his Nobles.
The Sealord and his 6 High Captains are often elected from the best and capable amongst this class - but it is seen before, that specially capable Umbarim and Adunakhôri captains are chosen.

Landmark; The Black Havens.
The great ports of Umbar are known all over Middle-earth - amongst the greatest harbours of the world, providing safe haven for an untold number of "Black Ships" - the preferred war-ship of any umbarean.
